Back in August, the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star, 56, travelled to France with Poturalski, 27, where they stayed at Château Miraval — the same place in France where the exes married six years ago.
“Angelina insisted Brad quarantine for 14 days after he returned from France, citing a rise in COVID-19 cases in the country,” a source told Us Weekly. “She didn’t want to chance the kids getting it.”
According to the source, Pitt wanted to take two tests “days apart” in hopes of “shortening the quarantine period,” but Jolie, 45, “wasn’t having it.”
Pitt ultimately agreed to quarantine and has since “resumed seeing the kids.”
Poturalski and Pitt touched down at Paris–Le Bourget Airport on August 26, the same day their romance was confirmed. The news of their romance comes amid Pitt’s divorce from Jolie.
The Maleficent star was reportedly “fuming” over her ex taking the model to Château Miraval.
“Angie is furious and utterly stunned Brad could stoop this low,” a source told The Sunday Mirror. “She was highly hopeful they could dial down the intensity after a terrible summer of fighting, but now that’s totally off the table.
“It grosses her out that he’s cavorting around Europe so publicly with this girl, instead of keeping a private and dignified lid on his love life.
“The fact he’s apparently taken them to her marital home is just beyond tacky and inappropriate, however, Brad wants to cut it.”
Poturalski and Pitt’s relationship was confirmed by Page Six, with a source revealing “they are seeing each other, they’re enjoying a vacation together.”
Pitt and Jolie married in 2014 at their French home surrounded by their children: Maddox, 19, Pax, 16, Zahara, 15, Shiloh, 14, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 12. Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in September 2016 after two years of marriage and 12 years as a couple. The pair have yet to finalise their divorce due to ongoing conflict over custody of their six kids.
