Spotify is making its way to Hollywood. The company, known primarily as a music streaming service, has announced that it has partnered with Chernin Entertainment to turn its original podcasts into movies and TV shows. Spotify has signed a first-look deal with the studio, with the two already collaborating to adapt The Clearing.

As announced by Spotify, the company has entered into a multiyear first-look deal with Chernin. The two are already working with Pineapple Street Medi to develop the true-crime podcast The Clearing, though no additional details have been revealed at this time. Spotify Chief Content and Advertising Business Officer Dawn Ostroff had this to say in a statement.

The This Is Us star confirmed in an Instagram post on Thursday that she is expecting with her husband, Taylor Goldsmith.

“Baby Boy Goldsmith coming early 2021,” she captioned her post, revealing her growing baby bump.

Moore and Goldsmith tied the knot in 2018 after two years of dating and one year of engagement. The singer, who recently released her seventh studio album Silver Landings, has been open about wanting to have children with Goldsmith in the past.

Legendary French singer Juliette Greco died Wednesday from a stroke near St. Tropez in France. She was 93.

Greco’s family confirmed the news of her death to AFP, writing, “Juliette Greco died this Wednesday surrounded by her family in the house she loved so much. Her life was one like no other. She was still making French songs shine at the age of 89.”

“I miss it terribly. My reason for living is to sing! To sing is everything, there is the body, the instinct, the head,” she told Telerama Magazine in an interview in July.

The singer was also known as a style icon and an artistic muse to photographers and writers. She dated Miles Davis, roamed the streets of St. Tropez with Orson Welles, and spurred Darryl F. Zanuck to try to lure her to Hollywood.

Tommy DeVito, a founding member of the Four Seasons, whose story was immortalised with that of the other members in the stage musical and movie Jersey Boys, died Monday night in Las Vegas. He was 92 and had been hospitalised with COVID-19 complications.

Two of the other original members, Frankie Valli and Bob Gaudio, released a joint statement on social media, saying, “It is with great sadness that we report that Tommy DeVito, a founding member of the Four Seasons, has passed. We send our love to his family during this most difficult time. He will be missed by all who loved him.”
