The multi-talented designer and DJ’s first outing of 2021 follows his appearance on Lupe Fiasco and Kaelin Ellis’ ‘SHOES’ last year, and his remix of Michael Kiwanuka‘s ‘Solid Ground’.

Marking the first time Abloh has collaborated with Brooklyn musician serpentwithfeet (real name Josiah Wise), ‘Delicate Limbs’ is accompanied by a beautiful Kordae Jatafa Henry-directed video.

Last month, Pharrell Williams unveiled a new non-profit initiative, Black Ambition, which will support Black and Latinx entrepreneurs.

The musician’s charity is said to be committed to levelling the playing field for non-white entrepreneurs by providing them with funding, opportunities, mentorships and access. As part of the launch, Williams announced two prize competitions: The Black Ambition HBCU Prize and The Black Ambition Prize.

Artist, designer and philanthropist Virgil Abloh contributed to the Black Ambition logo and identity concept design, while the companies Mattel and Tony’s Chocolonely are releasinfg affiliated products with proceeds going to the charity.

Black Ambition’s advisory team includes Williams with support from The Bridgespan Group, which is a global non-profit organisation that advises mission-driven organisations.

Meanwhile, Pharrell has revealed that “all but one” of the tracks on Justin Timberlake‘s debut album, ‘Justified’, were originally written for Michael Jackson.

Speaking on Revolt TV podcast Drink Champs, Pharrell revealed that he was regularly sending beats to both Jackson and Prince, apparently without success.
